Sadly, these are all voiced in Norwegian. But i’m considering uploading some english subtitles.

Most of these animations have aired on TV, and uploading them has been OK’d with the TV station that aired them. Mainly “ Newton” (the Norwegian science show for kids, mentioned quite a bit on this site, I guess :P) So, I’ve made a Vimeo-channel containing some of the scribble-animation done via those kind of jobs.

(albeit not being the most original animation style, at least not from a global perspective) And since I mostly operate with easily drawn stick-figures, the pacing while doing frame-by-frame animation makes it a bit easier than doing full-fledged figures alá Disney/Bluth/Krisfaluci etc.Īnyway…combining my knack for sound design and these scribbles with my sense of timing and humor, I’ve ended up with a style which obviously have sparked a bit of interest among several customers. But i do, however, consider myself somewhat experienced with the art of timing. I’ve never considered myself an animator, I lack any sort of finesse/delicate touch and I’ve never been able to draw a line even 60% straight. (BTW I did a remix of an excerpt of a Radioresepsjonen show earlier: " Someone Call the Shiftleader!“ ) Source: p3.no Kindergarten NRK nrk p3 nattrangel sfx music I did the music and SFX, (and creative inputs during the production) Petter wanted to delay the release until Radioresepsjonen got back on the air after their hiatus. This inspired Kindergarten Media’s Petter enough that he wanted to get this story visualised (since he too suffers from having a big head)Īfter a few years going through different animators, it was finally done earlier this year. One of Norway’s most famous musicians Bjørn Eidsvåg made a cameo and delivered a wonderful and parodical story about a young boy called “Sivert” who has an abnormally large head (which deep down really is a story about one his own sons “Simen”) In one of their columns about children’s books, they demonstrate how easy it is to write books for kids.

“Radioresepsjonen” is a popular radio show here in Norway. The last episode contains a joyful melody, which may infect your humming-muscle:Ībout the previous season of “Huset” Source: kindergarten.no scripting infrontofcamera music editing animation scribble video sfx

If you can stomach my language (and last but not least: my dialect) feel free to enjoy the slapstick at least ) ( 18C- with powerful wind kinda compromises the ability to pronounce words clearly, so we decided to do that scene at the end of the day.Īt the premiere I was interviewed by NRKSuper (in Norwegian) It also made my male genitalia curl up and desperately try to hide inside my anus during shooting the intro for “The Shower”-episode, in which I exit the shower wearing nothing but a towel and (thankfully) a couple of shoes filled with the ingenious invention: heat packs. This season differs being shot during the freezing cold Norwegian winter. This made the stick figures and lines more distinct. In a new sweater for this season, I’ll teach youngsters about 4 new household objects with that familiar Kindergarten style.

We, (still meaning Kindergarten) produced the second season of a science show for kids called: “Huset” which aired on the Norwegian TV channel NRK1 February-March 2013 She also does the voice for the boss, Vilya. Rabby’s sounds are made by me blowing raspberries on the neck of this little lady :) Vilya from the Pixel Ferrets mentions me in a post: Makes me wanna face dive in that pink tree and play with the butterflies.Ĭheck out their progress on. The release is due early 2013, and your pants should be somewhat moist with anticipation. Working with these guys (and girl) who are no less than a bunch of turbomotivated niceys, doesn’t make this job any less… you know, joyous :D

Stuff like the death of flying pumpkins with a robe and a friggin lantern that shoots fireballs, to a hopping scarecrow guy (which, judging from it’s attack animation, tries to clap over both of your ears at the same time. I’m having lots of fun making sound effects for this game. I’m currently working on the sound design for the upcoming exciting game called “Secrets of Grindea”.Ī hack'n'slash RPG with 4player coop which has gotten loads of well deserved attention in the indie community.
